What we did:
1. Memorize 12 vocabularies and then write them twice on the board
They still have some wrods not familiar with but all kids wrote words twice on the board

2. Read the text by using pretending voices
課文用模仿大野狼,女孩的聲音念一次,小朋友都很有興趣,全部參與
課文我們前後在學校唸了有四次, 說故事也念了兩次
3. The story reading:
find out they did not really get the story and answer it wrong on the homework
會念,但不是真的了解課文意思,
所以再帶小孩review一次,念完課文問他們問題
4. Game time: Simon said 做我說的動作
4. Halloween party: they have fun
Huiyi won the best custome contest
They also have doughnut eating game
Homework:回家功課
Record the kid's story about their tooth felling out and tooth fairy in Chinese

Now all kids can write words together but had a hard time on understanding the meaning.
For the class arrangement, I will let them practice making words, sentences more.
Then let's move to let kids create their stories and record it at home.
The next step will be write their own story by using the words they know along with the phonics.
現在所有小孩都參與寫字,也很會念課文,但對詞彙的理解需要加強,
所以課堂上,我會安排多一點造詞造句的活動。
回家功課,會以錄音小孩說自己的故事讓他們發揮創意,
最後目標,希望小孩可以開始寫作文,打字的方式, 錄音也可以,會再跟家長做討論。

Oct 21 class and homework
what we do today: 我們學了什麼
1. Read lesson 5 by pretending the character's voice, kids enjoy it

2. the word card game, each kid has a set of 12 new words card on hand.
We played the memorize game to show which word I said

Then we practice page 48/49 to make vocabulary

3. Cup game: 套套杯練習給做單字發想,寫出來想到的詞,就有獎勵品
Use 給 as the base word and provide two words 送,交
Then if kids can write and make more vocabularies, they have treats
4. Page 50, word card game first and then make vocabularies
They all know how to prounce it but can not use the word to make the right vocabularies
But we will practice mor
5. Lesson 5, story time, all kids read it and I ask question about the vocabularies' meaning, the kid who can answer gets treats

Here are their strength:
惠儀,always preview and review the works and able to say a lot of words
大士, very quick to answer my questions right. Good at hearing and understanding.
祐翔,very sharing, creative at making vocabularies
岳瞳,good at spelling, knows how to write 注音符號
And this week, he starts to write words at class and told me he will do his homework. :)
I gave them a big hugs that I do really miss them a lot.
So please do not blame me that I give out a whole bag of Goldfish to these cute kiddos.

10/14 Fall break
The past two weeks, we review Lesson 3 and 4.
Then we had a test.
Last week, we had the introduction to lesson 5.
For 10/14, we had a fall break, no class.
Homework, please let your kids watch the Chinese cartoon from YouTube.
I will ask them some questions like how do them like it, what do they learn from it.
Thanks for your patience and have a nice break.
Looking forward to seeing all kids next week.
