we finished two pages of assignments 109, 110
Then each kid had their story telling.
Dash told about he was on the TV for snow sledding.
Yuetong told about his daily life to hangout with his friend and dining at home.
惠儀 told the hardest story which she wrote three paragraphs.
At last, we had a vocabularies game.
I said the word and the kid hit the word I said.
And also, we played the game the teacher said.

Dec 17, new homework assignment：my winter break
Hi, parents:
Due to NCS will have a story telling competition in spring semester.
I would like to assign the student another homework for this coming week.
After they saw the cartoon, write a short journal, it is better for them to practice telling it at the class.
The topic will be my winter break.
It could be any topic from the cartoon or they want to share their winter break's story.
The story telling time is 1 minute to 3 minutes.
It includes the pronunciation, gesture, expression, topic and so on.
So it is better to let them practice at home from now.
After the break, the first class, we will let kids say it at the class.
Please let kids prepare it first.

中文學校春季班除了識字比賽外，還會有說故事比賽，主題自訂，
時間一分鐘到三分鐘，
評審標準會從，發音咬字，流暢度，肢體表現，主題呈現等做評斷。
藉由放假小孩看卡通寫讀後感同時，也同時練習演說的能力，
請幫小孩準備一段我的寒假的故事，一到三分鐘，
可以跟看卡通裡的主題有關，也可以小孩自由發揮說他們寒假的活動。

Dec 9, the last class, winter break's homework
Today, we have kids not showing up, arrive late or early release.
It is hard to make a group activity.
So we have a bingo game which includes all vocabularies from lesson 3, 4, 5, 6
I will send you the file by e-mail to let kids practice playing it at home.
We let kids write words to practice.
We have a party time which I let kids have steaming bun and bread which we taught as new vocabulary.
Homework
Watch the cartoon as above link.
There are eight topics with Chinese subtitle.
Let kids write one journal as more Chinese as they could.
If they want to type, they could.
Every week, write one journal related to those topics.
The first short story is related to lesson 5.
They should be very familiar to start with this one.
寒假功課，看卡通影片寫週記。
卡通有八個主題，讓小孩自己挑選一個主題寫，每週寫一個，
鼓勵小孩儘量用中文寫，輔助注意符號，
真的不行，最後再用英文做總結，
這樣我改作業時，才知道小孩到底有沒有聽懂了解內文。
第一個主題跟我們的第五課課文非常接近，加上有字幕，
所以小孩可以從那一個故事開始著手。

Please each parent prepare one snack for your kids to share.
This week's homework, let your kids practice Quizlet on the vocabularies of lesson 3,4,5,6.
For the Christmas break, I will have them do homework like watching the Chinese videos.
And then the first class, I will let them share what they think about it.
謝謝家長的協助幫忙小孩複習期末考，由於範圍大，小孩有點不熟稔，
但他們都很聰明，可以憑著認識一個單字的意思去聯想答案。
本週的作業，是讓孩子們再次複習第三到第六課的單字。
